These are used to prevent the thread from pulling through the thread holes. You can see the contour of the seat pan. I&#8217;ll try to keep the stock contour so it will lay on the seat pan evenly.<\/em><br \/>\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.motoforever.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/090214_2056_CustomTouri6.jpg?w=1112\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Here is the exposed seat pan and seat cover rolled back. Notice the excellent construction with a fiberglass seat pan, thick but soft covers and multi layer foam glued together to prevent slippage.
