The One Moto Show 2015

The One Motorcycle Show 2015

Linda and I made the trip to Portland, Ore. this year, for the One Moto Show in Portland Oregon. I’ve heard soooo much about it and more excited to see this event than any other Moto show that I can remember.  2015 is the sixth year for this show and we weren’t disappointed.  We took the Harley, two-up.  It was a beautiful sunny day and how excited we were to see all of those custom and vintage bikes parked around the venue even before we arrived!  We saw a custom (by custom, I mean custom hand crafted bike, hand made and beautifully painted in green) bike riding the streets on our way into Portland.  I was sure that he was on his way to the show… and I was right!

The show promises to have vintage bikes, side cars, custom built, customized, partially restored, fully restored, new, old, hopped up… you get the picture. A biker enthusiast’s kind of place to be…

Maybe you’ve missed this year’s event, but you owe it to yourself to be there next year for sure. Here are some pics from The One Moto Show 2015.

The scene as we arrived was filled with bikes, traffic cops and police… but mostly just bikes and plenty of moto enthusiasts.  The event building is superbly filled with custom bikes, show bikes, racing bikes, coffee, beer, pizza, live music, did I say bikes, lots of fantastic bikes, custom painted helmets, vintage pics and posters and more. The outside area hosts more  vendors and even includes a covered mini 50cc racing area.  More on that later.

This guy made a fully custom chopper with S&S 124 hotrod and straight pipes.

All are welcome and people came in on every kind of bike imaginable.

The line literally goes around the block, but moves fast and with the conversations going around isn’t bad at all. It’s actually kind of fun. I met some people from Seattle.

Once inside, you are treated to an amazing collection of super cool bikes! The people were pretty cool too.

Lots more to show you… click for page 2
